Lubuntu uses the minimal desktop LXDE, and a selection of light applications. We focus on speed and energy-efficiency. Because of this, Lubuntu has very low hardware requirements. 
• Get this version of Lubuntu here: lubuntu-14.04-desktop-amd64.iso.
• Installing was easy using: LiLi (Linux Live USB Creator).
• Guides: Launch into Linux and Ubuntu Documentation.

Unresolved issues

• Can't edit startup processes.
• Altec Lansing Speakers/Subwoofer in mono, not stereo. Trying this guide of Beats Audio.
• Ubuntu the original stable failed, unless I use acpi=off permanently, wich is not viable because of massive loss of vital functions such as standby and shutdown.
• Anything else that raises concern

UPDATE:

My wifi constantly disconects while downloading or watching videos, also happened in my android tablet. This solved my problem http://askubuntu.com/a/500421.

Windows 8.1 - 64bit failed me after updating nvidia driver, i'm lucky to have linux.

Laptop speakers and subwoofer doesn't have stereao quality, i'm using headphones.

When i login this window came up (System program problem detected).

Installing Wine and this error came up "nvidia-libopencl1-331 has to be removed".

This laptop would not boot Windows, with black screen and blinking caps lock once.

 CMOS battery, hard drive, RAM devices and WiFi card.

 Dust in the RAM devices allover.

 Certificate is obsolete now (to prevent this cover it).

 Dust in the battery space (battery not used).

 Cover needs cleaning.
